I am a fully trained, experienced psychotherapist & counsellor and a member of the United Kingdom Association for Transactional Analysts ( UKATA).
My core training was in Transactional Analysis which is a fantastic framework to understand human behaviour and motivation, but I also like to work integratively, which means I have experience of different theories, which I draw upon to make your therapy personal and unique to you.
I have received further training in Existential psychotherapy, Gestalt work, & Bodywork & Art therapy and Trauma recovery.
I enjoy working creatively with clients to explore the challenges that are being faced or they are trying to overcome from the past.

The way I work is determined by what brings you to therapy, it may be depression, relationship breakdown, surviving an abusive relationship, life stage changes or a simple undetermined dissatisfaction that you may feel and not understand.

Therapy with me would mean examining the way you think, feel and behave and within the safe confines of our therapeutic relationships gently looking at this from different perspectives to see if these ways of being in the world are allowing you to live the way you wish to.
I have most experiences dealing with anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, suicidal issues, recovery from abusive relationships, trauma recovery, stress and mindfulness living.
I abide by the UKATA code of ethics and my work is professional and confidential at all times. I attend regular monthly supervision and have full professional insurance cover.
Sessions will be 50 minutes long and are currently £60 which is payable by cash or bank transfer please. The number of sessions will depend upon your needs, I offer both long and short term therapy.
